Questions about Booking, Cost and Care
Practical questions only. Clinical questions live on the condition pages where they belong.

Booking and Appointments
How long is the first appointment?
The first appointment is scheduled with time to review your history, current symptoms and treatment goals. Follow-up appointments focus on what has changed and how the plan is working.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Closed weekends. We do not provide out-of-hours or emergency care. Crisis resources.
Can I be seen the same week?
Often, though it depends on the week. Call and ask rather than assuming; availability changes and cancellations open up.
Cost and Insurance
Do you take Medicaid?
Not currently. The insurance page lists the plans we accept.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes, along with all major credit cards. Psychiatric care is a qualified medical expense, so an HSA or FSA card means paying with pre-tax money.
How We Work
Who will I see at my appointment?
A member of our clinical team who is licensed in Georgia. Your history is kept in one shared medical record, so another Ridge Way clinician can review it if your provider changes.
Can Ridge Way work with my therapist?
Yes. Many of our patients see a therapist elsewhere and come to us for evaluation and medication. With your written permission, we can exchange relevant information with an outside therapist when coordination is part of your care. We do not provide therapy ourselves, and if it is the right addition we will say so and refer you.
Does telehealth cost the same?
The self-pay rate is the same in person or by video. With insurance, your cost depends on your plan’s telehealth benefits, deductible, copay or coinsurance. We verify your benefits and provide an estimate before the first visit. How telehealth works.
What ages do you see?
Six and over. A parent or legal guardian consents and attends the first appointment for anyone under eighteen. Who we treat.
Will my employer find out?
Ridge Way does not disclose your clinical information to your employer without your written authorization unless disclosure is required by law. If you use employer-sponsored insurance, Ridge Way submits a claim to the health plan. Contact your plan if you have questions about how it handles claims information.
Still Have a Question?
Call and ask. It costs nothing, and we’d rather answer now than have you guess. Book whenever you’re ready.
