How We Work
Ridge Way provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management. No therapy, no testing, no inpatient care. A narrow scope means clinicians are not stretched across things they were not trained for.
Initial evaluations are scheduled with time for the whole history, and follow-ups with time for what has changed. Patients are not asked to repeat their history at every visit.
We publish what we do not treat, we verify insurance before patients are seen, and we refer out rather than taking appointments that were never going to help. That is a clinical culture as much as an operational one.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Sugar Hill, Georgia, with telehealth across the state. Evaluation and medication management for adults, teenagers and children from six, for the conditions this practice treats: depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, sleep and alcohol use disorder. No therapy caseload, no testing, no inpatient rounds.
You work under a protocol agreement with a collaborating physician, as Georgia requires, in a practice that publishes what it does not treat and refers out rather than taking appointments that were never going to help.
What We Ask For
- Georgia APRN license with PMHNP certification, or eligibility for one
- Georgia prescriptive authority and DEA registration, or eligibility for both
- Experience evaluating and treating the conditions above, across ages
- Comfortable delivering care by video as well as in the room
- Comfortable in a small practice where the whole team works from one chart
Schedule and compensation are discussed at interview. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
