You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone
Whether it started last month or you’ve felt this way for years, it’s okay to ask for help. Our medical team will review your symptoms, history and day-to-day functioning, consider possible explanations and discuss appropriate next steps. Start with whatever sounds closest to what you’re feeling.

Not sure whether your concern fits our scope? Call us before booking, or book an evaluation. If it falls outside what we provide, we will tell you before treatment begins.

More Than One of These?
That’s common. Low mood, worry, focus problems and poor sleep often show up together. Our medical team considers how the symptoms may be connected rather than evaluating each concern in isolation. This applies whether you are booking for yourself or someone in your family.
Common Questions About Mental Health Conditions and Treatment
How do I know if I should schedule a mental health evaluation?
If your mood, sleep, focus, anxiety, or stress levels are affecting your daily life, relationships, work, or school, a mental health evaluation can help identify what’s going on and what treatment options may help. The National Institute of Mental Health has a short guide on deciding whether you need help.
Can I have more than one mental health condition?
Yes. It’s common for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, and trauma-related disorders to occur together, and the National Institute of Mental Health notes that depression in particular can co-occur with other mental disorders. Your provider will evaluate the full picture during your appointment.
Do I need a diagnosis before booking an appointment?
No. Many patients seek care because they know something doesn’t feel right but aren’t sure why. An evaluation is designed to help clarify symptoms, discuss concerns, and determine whether treatment may help.
What if I don’t see my condition listed?
Not every mental health concern fits neatly into a category. If you’re experiencing symptoms that aren’t listed here, or you’re not sure what you’re dealing with, call us or book an evaluation. Our medical team will review your concerns, assess possible explanations and let you know whether Ridge Way is an appropriate fit for your care.
Services Outside Our Scope
Ridge Way does not provide psychotherapy, counseling, inpatient treatment or emergency care. We do not prescribe benzodiazepines or buprenorphine. If your needs fall outside our scope, our team will explain that before treatment begins and may provide referral options when available.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health or suicide crisis, call or text 988, any time, or call the Georgia Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225.
