We Built the Practice We Wished Existed
It started when someone in Dr. Ashar’s family sought psychiatric care and left with fifteen minutes, a prescription, and more questions than answers.

Why Dr. Ashar Started Ridge Way
Watching her own family get fifteen minutes and a prescription, Dr. Ashar knew care could be better than that, because she had seen what better looked like. So she built a practice where the first appointment is scheduled with time for your whole history. We take the time to understand what’s going on, answer your questions, and help you make informed decisions about treatment.
What You Can Count On
We’ll Tell You the Truth
If we’re not the right people to help you, we’ll say so at the start and point you somewhere better. We’d rather lose a patient than waste your time.
You Won’t Repeat Yourself
Everything stays in one chart. If you see a different provider, your history comes with you in one shared record, so the next clinician can review it rather than starting over.
You’ll Know the Cost Before You Come
We check your insurance before your first visit, and our self-pay prices are on the site, so you know what to expect before you walk in or log on.

Who You’ll See
Our Georgia-licensed clinical team is led by Dr. Ashar N., a board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner with extensive experience caring for children, teens, and adults.
We see children ages 6 and up, teenagers, and adults. You do not need a referral unless your insurance plan requires one.
Real Experiences from Real Patients
I have had a wonderful experience with the nurse practitioner assigned to my care. She has been incredibly helpful, going above and beyond. I am so thankful for her support and dedication.Audrey S.

In Person or Online
Our office is in Sugar Hill, at 1400 Buford Hwy NE Suite K-2. If getting there is hard, or you’d just rather not, we see patients by video anywhere in Georgia. Same providers, same care.

You don’t have to know what’s wrong to come in. Working that out together is what the first visit is for. Tell us what’s been going on, and we’ll start there.

Come Talk to Us
Start with a conversation. We’ll take it from there.
