-
Georgia Crisis and Access Line
Georgia's own crisis line, run by the state Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Free, 24 hours a day, every day, and able to send a mobile crisis team or connect you to local services.
If You Are Not in Danger but You Are Struggling
Feeling hopeless, not sleeping, or drinking more than you want to are all reasons to talk to someone. You do not have to be in crisis to deserve help.
If You Are Worried about Someone Else
Ask them directly. Asking someone whether they are thinking about suicide does not put the idea in their head, and it is often a relief to be asked. Stay with them, and call 988 together if they will let you.
What Ridge Way Can and Cannot Do
Ridge Way is an outpatient practice. We do not provide emergency or after-hours crisis care, and we are not a substitute for 988 or 911. If you are safe and looking for ongoing care, our providers see patients across Georgia.
